 Sustainable communities and going "green" is all the rage today. But what does building "green" really mean? The Citrus County "Green" Building Council Education Committee was recently formed to address an ever growing interest in creating and maintaining "Green" buildings in Citrus County.
The mission of the Citrus County "Green" Building Educational Committee is to educate commercial and residential audiences on adopting building practices that result in water-efficient, energy-efficient, healthier and environmentally sustainable buildings. Educational efforts will promote credible and practical green building approaches for residential and commercial construction.
