The Land Section provides a wide range of professional real estate services for the Board of County Commissioners, Public Works and other County Departments in a cost effective, coordinated and reliable manner. Land Section ONLY works with County owned properties and properties that the County is acquiring.

Principal Duties Include:

Property Acquisition necessary to Capital Improvement projects for infrastructure such as new and widened roads, parks, utilities and other facilities by purchase, sale, donation or eminent domain.
Prepare and process easements
Release of County easements
Inventory of all real property owned by Citrus County
County-owned Surplus real property
Property Donations
Consulting Services
Preparation and maintenance of Special Assessments for road paving
Preparation and maintenance of Street Lighting Districts
Administration of Limerock Road Paving Program
Preparation and maintenance of Water Quality Assessments
